One rainy night, a family was going to their grandmother’s house for Halloween. The parents, Jacob and Alisson, and the two brothers, Jack and Carl, always went to Catherine’s house, the Granny, who lived in the countryside, near the woods. They were about to arrive at the granny’s house when the car broke down in the middle of the road that passes through the woods. The parents went to look for help and the children stayed to take care of the car. Jack was 18 and Carl was 16 years old. The hours passed and the parents didn’t return. They started to worry but they didn’t expect what was about to come.
The parents went to the grandmother’s house in a taxi to plan the pranks as the sons always played horror jokes on them. The two teenagers were in the car watching Instagram and suddenly their father sent them a message that a virus was attacking the people and they were killed instantly. Jack and Carl got scared a lot and then they saw a person coming out from the trees. It seemed as if it has been dead for a while, like a walking dead…a ZOMBIE!!! the brothers got very scared and ran into the woods. The zombie chased after them, Carl tripped and fell down but Jack kept running away. He reached his Granma’s house and discovered that both parents were waiting for him (or them) disguised as zombies. He thought at that moment that they were experts in Halloween jokes because he had believed all the situation.
But when Alisson asked with a worried voice about Carl where his brother was, Jacob replied: “He might have stayed behind, talking with Granma, she was dressed as a zombie, like you”
“No dear,” said his mother, “Granma wasn’t part of this joke, she’s inside the house setting the table…”
